BROZERS'

BROZERS' is a must-visit hamburger joint in Tokyo. Located at about five minutes walk from Subway Ningyo-Cyo station (Asakusa-Line or Hibiya-Line), it is a very packed restaurant; you would expect long lines outside the building during lunchtime, so be prepared. The rarity is that BROZERS' is crowded even during dinner times; not many Tokyo's hamburger joints are packed during the night, mostly due to the fact that hamburgers are still widely considered as a lunch meal. This fact alone shows that BROZERS' is a special burger joint in Tokyo.

The specialty of BROZERS' is that they serve one of Tokyo's original "Big" hamburgers. The "Lot Burger", a household name, is a tremendously huge hamburger filled with fried egg, grilled pineapple, bacon, cheese, beef patty, tomato, onion and lettuce. There are four kinds of sauces to choose from, Barbeque, Hot Chili, Sweet Chili and Teriyaki. The restaurant's recommendation is the Barbeque sauce. The appearance is a thing of beauty. If you are super-hungry, you might want to try the "Double Lot Burger", with an extra beef patty. Take a look at the "Double Lot Burger"...

If you are not that hungry, but still want a very satisfying hamburger, I would recommend you the simple bacon cheeseburger. The bacon cheeseburger comes with a barbeque sauce. Every BROZERS' hamburger come with french fries, and during dinner times, onion rings and pickles.

When you take your first bite into the hamburger, you will be amazed by the crisp crust of the buns. It is crispy on the outside, but soft in the inside. It has a hint of sweetness, a frequently overlooked but one of the important elements of a good Tokyo hamburger. Along with the BROZERS' original barbeque sauce, it will stimulate your taste buds and will make you want to dig into the hamburger. The beef patty is made from 100% Aussie beef. They don't use Wagyu in the patties, but with their strong sauces, it might actually taste better by using Aussie beef than Wagyu.

As you can see, all of their hamburgers' appearances are very attractive. It might seem odd, but in the popular hamburger joints in Japan, women are the majority of the customers. Because the appearances are "cute", you can hear the shutter sounds of the digital cameras/ phone cameras. I have seen a group of four girls taking pictures of the hamburgers that they ordered, and rotating the plates so that they could take the photos of the four hamburgers they ordered. Believe it or not, but men are the minorities here.
